Plan Your Trip

Get Ready for Your Day on the Water

Everything you need to know before your trip on Halcyon II, from what to bring to where to meet us.

What’s Provided

We’ve Got the Gear. You Bring the Good Vibes.

When you step aboard Halcyon II, everything you need for a successful day is already on deck. We provide high-quality rods and reels, bait, tackle, and a crew that’s ready to help. There is a refrigerator and freezer for anything you bring, plus shaded seating, a clean restroom, and an enclosed salon to relax between bites. All you have to do is show up ready for a good time.

What to Bring

Stay Comfortable and Ready for Anything

We recommend bringing a light jacket, especially for early morning trips. Wear sun-protective clothing, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen to stay protected on deck. Bring whatever food or drinks you’d like — just no glass containers. A camera or phone is a must for capturing your day, and if you’re prone to seasickness, plan ahead with medication. Tips for the crew are always appreciated and 15% to 20% tips are customary.

Fishing License Info

Only Required for Non-Residents Age 15+

Hawai‘i law requires a recreational marine fishing license for non-residents ages 15 and older. You can purchase your license online before your trip through the Department of Land and Natural Resources. If you’re a Hawai‘i resident, you’re all set — no license needed.
